Job Title: Director of People and Talent

We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our team at LocalStack, a fast-growing startup revolutionizing cloud development processes. As our Director of People and Talent, you will play a critical role in shaping our HR strategy, driving talent acquisition, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with our leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with our business objectives and culture.
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead our recruitment efforts, building strategies to attract top-tier technical talent in the developer tooling sector.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive, inclusive work environment, implementing employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
  • Performance Management: Establish and manage performance appraisal systems, building career development programs and leadership development initiatives.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee competitive compensation, bonus, and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and HR best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role in a tech company.
  • Experience in scaling HR practices in high-growth companies, including working with remote and globally distributed teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and trends within the software development or SaaS industry.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional HR certifications are a plus.
