Room Leader Opportunity at Banana Moon Day Nurseries

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our vibrant team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries. As a Room Leader, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, promoting their holistic development, and ensuring their needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a designated room, providing a safe and engaging atmosphere for children.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Supervise and support staff, offering mentorship and guidance.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to the highest standards of health and safety.
Requirements:
  • A full and relevant level 3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting, ideally in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about working with young children and providing high-quality care.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
