Agility Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Business Ledger Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales and purchase ledger, preparing invoices in a timely and accurate manner, monitoring the sales ledger inbox, and preparing purchase ledger payment runs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible, enthusiastic, and approachable, with a background in a busy office environment. Relevant experience and knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules are highly desirable.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales ledger process to ensure timely and accurate invoice preparation.
  • Monitor sales ledger inbox to determine priority requests.
  • Prepare purchase ledger payment runs and manage supplier queries.
  • Post purchase ledger and disbursement invoices.
  • Prepare reconciliations, reports, and ad hoc information.
  • Undertake further work, tasks, or projects as requested by the Finance Manager or Assistant Accountant.
  • Build excellent working relationships with colleagues and partners.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum
