About This Role

Baxter is a leading medical innovation company that transforms healthcare. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Maintenance Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct, coordinate, and manage equipment-related maintenance and improvement activities across Compounding sites to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and capability.
  • Lead equipment-related capital investment in association with the Compounding critical equipment budget.
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained in compliance with cGMP, FDA, ISO13485, and EHS Legislation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a safety-first approach to every aspect of the role.
  • Lead trouble shooting, fault finding, and resolution to the root cause of compounding-related plant and equipment.
  • Lead shutdown planning and execution, inclusive of shutdown and start-up activities.
  • Focus on reliability of plant and equipment, working to ensure plant availability and OEE metrics are continuously improved.

Working Relationships

The jobholder will have day-to-day interaction with Engineering Management, Unit Managers, Operations, Validation, Quality Management, Production Staff, Contractors, OEMs, and other stakeholders.

Communication

The jobholder will be required to lead and participate in meetings, write reports, and attend daily briefing meetings as required.
