We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Support Assistant to join our team at a school rated Good by Ofsted. As a Special Education Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in achieving their full potential.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND, promoting their social development and confidence.
  • Assist with lesson planning and the delivery of tailored educational activities, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.


Requirements:


  • A 1st Class or 2:1 Degree from a reputable UK university.
  • Prior experience in supporting students with SEND, with a genuine passion for making a positive impact on their lives.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students, promoting their social skills, confidence, and personal growth.
