Job Title: NHS Inpatient Services Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our Inpatient Services team. As the NHS Inpatient Services Leader, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of Inpatient bookings, ensuring seamless communication between departments, and providing expert guidance to staff.

About the Role

You will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals, providing training and development opportunities, and maintaining accurate records and data quality. Your excellent leadership skills and ability to work under pressure will enable you to make informed decisions and drive improvements in patient care and service delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Operational General Managers, Departmental Managers, and Clinical Staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve Inpatient booking processes and patient experience.
  • Provide regular reports on RTT or Inpatient activity to the corporate Patient Access Meeting.
  • Foster good working relationships with other departments/agencies within and outside the Trust, ensuring all stakeholders understand and respect operational policies.
  • Attend meetings, ensuring essential information is cascaded to staff and staff concerns are relayed appropriately.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of NHS E-RS.
  • Computer literacy to ECDL or equivalent License.
  • Project management qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills.
  • E-RS Train the Trainer qualification.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
