Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Grief Support Worker to join our team in Scotland. The role will involve providing emotional support and guidance to families and professionals affected by the loss of a child, as well as outreach work with local communities.

About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, such as health, social care, or counselling, and experience in working with vulnerable populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Support the development and delivery of bereavement support services for families and professionals.
  2. Manage a caseload of clients and provide individual and group support sessions.
  3. Collaborate with community groups and organisations to promote inclusivity and access to bereavement support services.
  4. Contribute to the recruitment, training, and support of volunteers for the Bereavement Service.
