Senior Supervising Social Worker Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/Supervising Social Worker to join our Foster Care Associates Scotland team. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December, with a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependent on experience.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with foster carers and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people in foster care. You will be responsible for monitoring the continued suitability and competence of foster carers, providing regular supervision, and working collaboratively with other agencies to identify needs within the foster family.

Requirements
  • A Social Work qualification.
  • Valid Social Work Registration or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures.
