Certification Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Certification Specialist to join our team at GAP Group Limited. As a key member of our Lifting Equipment Inspection Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of lifting equipment throughout the UK.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, tests, and certifications of lifting equipment, as well as providing training and guidance to junior staff members. You will also contribute to the development of certification procedures and provide input on new technologies and innovations in the field.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive package of benefits, including up to 25 days annual leave, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and employee welfare fund.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in lifting equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair.
  • Extensive knowledge of LOLER regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driving license.
