Evidenced-Based Intervention Specialist
Deliver high quality interventions to children and adolescents (age 5-18) as part of Dr Craig Dunn & Associates Psychology Services. Key areas of focus include improving services, community engagement, and relationships with stakeholders. Provide specialist interventions to individuals across a range of problem areas.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidenced-based interventions to clients of Dr Craig Dunn & Associates Ltd.
- Support children and adolescents (age 5-18) with a range of mental health issues.
- Provide high quality specialist interventions to individuals and adolescents.
- Screen clients to ascertain suitability for the service and offer appropriate therapy.
- Refer clients to the appropriate Psychological Therapy Modality within or to outside agencies as necessary.
- Attend clinical group supervision and practice meetings.
- Conduct Mental Health Assessments and Risk Assessments for users and formulate and implement Risk Management plans.
- Provide information and education to clients about choice and access of psychological therapies available within the service.
- Maintain accurate electronic clinical records relating to individual clients, in accordance with GDPR/ICO regulations.
- Develop and maintain good professional relationships with mental health workers in current and external settings.
Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in psychology and counselling.
- Registration with a professional body such as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), BPS, or BABCP.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time contract.
- Weekend availability required.
