Job Title: Health Visitor Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Health Visitor Specialist to join our team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Visitor Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering child health programmes and working in partnership with children's centers, schools, GPs, social care organisations, and voluntary agencies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess the health needs of individuals and involve clients/caregivers in the process of meeting those needs.
- Monitor the health of children under five years of age and promote optimum health and development.
- Be aware of deviations from the normal in health and behaviour and intervene to protect vulnerable children and adults.
Requirements:
- Registered Health Visitor Specialist Practice Qualification
- Experience or Equivalent working as a Health Visitor
- Working in multi-professional and skill mix teams
