**SEND Teaching Assistant Opportunity**

TeacherActive is seeking a skilled and caring Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in Nottinghamshire.

The role involves providing academic support to students with Special Educational Needs, including assistance with personal care and daily routines, as well as developing and maintaining effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Education or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and challenging behavior.
  • Ability to work one-to-one with students who require additional support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer

We offer a supportive and inclusive environment where you can grow professionally and personally. The estimated salary for this position is around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on a 5-day week and 50 weeks per year.
