About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Food & Beverage Team at the Everglades Hotel.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

You will work closely with our friendly team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our service areas, adhering to Hastings Hotels' standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring the highest standard of service and meeting their needs and expectations.
  • Ensure all cash, charges, floats, and till procedures are carried out correctly.
  • Greet guests and respond to their queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain the security of stock areas and report any breaches immediately.
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel's offerings and proactive in selling these to guests.
  • Deal with guest concerns politely and efficiently, reporting them to the Supervisor/Manager on duty.
  • Work effectively with colleagues to maintain a harmonious working environment.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and hygiene policies and procedures.

About You

We value candidates with previous experience in serving food and beverages, but we also provide full training to our team members.

Requirements:

  • Good command of the English language.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • GCSE level or equivalent with grades A-C in English and Maths.
  • Excellent communication and basic numeracy skills.
  • Professional appearance.
