Join Our Team as a Clinical Psychologist Academic Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist to join our team as an Academic Tutor in Clinical Psychology. As a key member of our academic staff, you will contribute to the delivery of our Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, working closely with our trainees and academic colleagues to provide a high-quality learning experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the academic curriculum as an academic tutor, supporting the academic mentoring of our trainees, teaching, assessment, curriculum developments, and research supervision.
  • Work closely with our trainees and academic colleagues to provide a high-quality learning experience.
  • Develop and deliver teaching materials, assessments, and other educational resources to support the academic strand of the programme.
  • Contribute to the development of the programme's curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and effective in preparing trainees for a career in clinical psychology.
  • Supervise research projects and provide guidance to trainees on their research and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Hold a clinical psychology qualification and have up-to-date knowledge of clinical psychology practice.
  • Have a minimum of two years' experience working in a clinical psychology role, with a strong track record of supporting the development of others.
  • Be enthusiastic about supporting the training and personal and professional development of our next generation of Clinical Psychologists.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and trainees at all levels.
