Plate Processing Business Lead

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the steel industry and a proven track record of success in sales.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strong relationships with existing clients in the steel industry. You will also be expected to promote key products and services to expand sales and maintain accurate customer databases and statistics.
About the Role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the steel industry
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Promote key products and services to expand sales
- Liaise with commercial director and product leads on customer issues and opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer databases and statistics
Requirements
- 3+ years of sales experience in the steel industry
- Strong knowledge of steel plate processing and structural sections
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary: £50-70k per annum (dependent on experience) + bonus, car allowance, pension, health, etc
Location: Belfast or surrounding area base with a Northern Ireland/ Republic of Ireland remit
