As a Senior Brand Ambassador for Africa Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in scaling Spowse's brand as the leading relationships and social networking app in Africa.

You will be responsible for developing and executing regional campaigns and go-to-market strategies to support growth through integrated marketing campaigns. Your expertise will ensure best practice in all aspects of marketing while providing strategic direction to inform campaigns and strategies that meet our short and long-term business goals.

Your key focus will be on delivering new user growth in Africa via improved marketing planning and efficient activation of marketing plans, monitoring analytics, and identifying opportunities to build and scale our brand. You will also act as a liaison for the Africa marketing team with wider global teams in the group to ensure we are up to date on developments/strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Spowse Marketing teammates to drive marketing strategies and activities that increase new user growth in Africa and achieve short and long-term business objectives.
  • Lead and support the development of Integrated Brand campaigns and go-to-market strategies to expand Spowse's presence in Africa.
  • Identify and pitch disruptive go-to-market opportunities and culturally relevant ideas to drive engagement and growth.
  • Manage internal resources to develop integrated campaigns (briefing, reviews, providing strategic feedback, production, execution) and identify potential conflicts, changes to scope, and alternative solutions.
  • Develop creative assets, ensuring localization across platforms and collaboration with the Product Marketing team on campaigns celebrating product features and launches.
  • Work collaboratively with the internal media team and key media partners to build and execute campaign media plans.
  • Better brand consistency by building marketing processes, toolkits, and best practices in collaboration with other marketing teammates and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in robust planning and track and measure campaign success, leading communication with internal and external parties and facilitating regular check-ins with team leads.
  • Prepare presentations and communicate findings from initiatives to management, the broader organization, and leadership teams.
  • Oversight and support junior contributors on the team, enabling high-quality work.
  • Manage relevant marketing budgets to deliver work on time and within budget.
About the Role
