About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator to join our dynamic team at Eames Consulting. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to other IT staff members, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with the IT Architecture team to provide project support and ensure the successful implementation of IT initiatives.
  • Administer and maintain the entire MS-SQL server infrastructure across all environments, including production, UAT, and development.
  • Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies using native backup and Ola Hallengren maintenance solutions.
  • Manage and audit database security, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery solutions, including Microsoft Clustering and Availability Groups.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance using native or third-party tools, such as RedGate SQL Monitor.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts, SSIS packages, and T-SQL queries to automate database tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Administer and maintain Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS), and Analytical Services (SSAS).
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design, development, and administration.
  • Experience with PowerShell, SSIS, and T-SQL.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
