Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to other IT staff, project support to the IT Architecture teams, and administration of the IT Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to other IT staff
  • Provide project support to the IT Architecture teams as required
  • Provide support and administration of the IT Infrastructure
  • Assist with testing of IT Business Continuity plans as and when required
  • Provide project support for IT development teams and infrastructure projects as required
  • Manage and maintain entire MS-SQL server infrastructure across all environments: production, UAT and development
  • Database backup and recovery with use of native backup and Ola Hallengren maintenance solution
  • Manage and audit database security
  • Management of disaster recovery solutions (Microsoft Clustering, Availability Groups - including multi subnet configuration)
  • Performance monitoring, tuning and capacity planning with use of native or third party tools (preferably RedGate SQL Monitor)
  • Must have a good knowledge of PowerShell, SSIS, and T-SQL
  • Administration of Reporting Services (SSRS), Integration Services (SSIS) and Analytical Services (SSAS)
