Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to support Portfolio Managers with the active management of Global Fixed Income portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate execution of investment strategies across client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Portfolio Managers with the day-to-day portfolio management activities, including rebalancing portfolios, managing cash positions, and monitoring risk.
  • Interact closely with Portfolio Managers and Traders to ensure the successful execution of investment strategies.
  • Analyse performance and provide insights to inform investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience gained in a similar role.
  • Demonstrate sound working knowledge of fixed income markets.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Excellent quantitative and numerical skills, with extensive knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience using Python or VBA would be beneficial.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA will be hugely advantageous.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Team player who enjoys working in a collegiate environment.
