- Model Development: Create models, theses, and insights to shape top-down strategies and drive investment performance.
- Process Development: Develop and evolve processes for delivering solutions to a wide range of clients.
- Communication and Influence: Demonstrate strong investment ability and communicate effectively with colleagues to influence investment decisions.
- Risk Management: Express perspectives on portfolio and sector risks to inform investment decisions.
- Portfolio Construction: Independently construct fixed-income portfolios utilizing strong market, sector, and technical skills.
- Portfolio Optimization: Develop portfolios that represent the return and risk profile of related CFII strategies.
- Investment Execution: Ensure timely and accurate execution of investment strategies across investment vehicles.
- Team Representation: Represent the team by building partnerships, collaborating across business functions, and representing the team internally and externally.
- Market Views: Generate portfolio construction ideas and navigate complex portfolio construction needs amidst volatile markets.
- Independent Decision-Making: Exercise independent decision-making without clear direction from a reference strategy.
- Experience: 5 to 10+ years of experience in the investment management industry, ideally in an investment strategist or portfolio construction role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of portfolio construction and buy-side fixed income portfolio management.
- Skills: Intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, collaboration, and effective communication.
