Gheel Autism Services is a leading provider of support services for individuals with autism. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Autism Support Practitioner to join our team.

About the Role

As an Autism Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism in a residential setting. Your primary focus will be on enabling individuals to achieve their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social care, experience working with individuals with autism, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with autism in a residential setting
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies or equivalent qualification
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with autism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary of €50,000 per annum, plus benefits including access to health insurance, employee assistance program, and paid maternity/paternity leave.
