About the Role

The Fleet Workshop Supervisor role is a key position within the Fleet Operations team at Ubico. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for effectively motivating and supervising a team of vehicle technicians to deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate a team of vehicle technicians to deliver outstanding service
  • Undertake periodic inspections, maintenance, repair, and testing on a diverse fleet of vehicles and plant
  • Ensure compliance with DVSA standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Operations team to achieve business objectives
Requirements
  • City and Guilds full craft certificate in HGV Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent
  • Full valid UK Driving Licence (or European equivalent) with LGV Category C entitlement
  • Experience in supervising and developing a frontline workforce
  • Experience of working with a mixed fleet of vehicles and plant
  • Literate with basic IT skills to use and interrogate data from the Fleet Management System
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation
  • Possession of own hand tools for work purposes
