Job Description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Neuro Rehabilitation Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Neuro Rehab Times. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with complex neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the multidisciplinary team in diagnosis, problem formulation, and planning of rehabilitation programs.
  • Function as a key worker/ named therapist to ensure active coordination and management of the therapeutic program to achieve agreed rehabilitation goals.
  • Play a key role in planning safe discharges.
  • Prescribe and provide equipment for patients during their rehabilitation journey.
  • Maintain records and clinical notes in line with company policy and RCOT guidelines.
  • Contribute to the in-service education and training program for the wider multidisciplinary team.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • RCOT registration
  • Previous experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting
  • Ability to motivate patients over long periods
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
