About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our commercial team at Cardiff Bus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the marketing function, developing and implementing effective marketing campaigns and materials, and promoting the company's brand and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the annual marketing plan and PR strategy to achieve the company's objectives.
  • Manage the PR Support Contract and be the key contact for the designated partner agency.
  • Assist with the design and production of marketing and publicity materials, including the website, app, and roadside marketing.
  • Identify opportunities to promote the Welsh language in promotional materials.
  • Carry out English to Welsh translations as required.
  • Liaise with external suppliers in relation to marketing materials and publications.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities, duties, and ad-hoc project work as required.
Requirements
  • Proactive individual with the ability to work independently and of their own initiative.
  • Extremely organized with excellent presentation skills.
  • Hands-on approach with friendly and good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Welsh language is desirable but not essential.
