Job Title: Residential Childcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team at Bay View. As a key member of our Residential Team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe, secure, and homely environment for young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, working closely with the Registered Manager and other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for each young person.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other external agencies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and Bay View's policies.
  • Participate in regular supervisions, training, and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Diploma Level in Working with Children and Young People or Level 3 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner Apprenticeship (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with young people, families, and colleagues.
