About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our established Residential Team at Bay View. As a key member of our team, you will work in one of our family feel children\u2019s homes in Heysham or rural North Lancaster, supporting young people aged - with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To carry out duties as a Childcare Worker and Key Worker, ensuring the National Standards laid down by Ofsted are consistently exceeded.
  • To provide high-quality care to the children, adhering to legal requirements, Ofsted standards and Bay View Childcare policies and procedures.
  • To build and maintain positive relationships with family, friends and external bodies, as requested by the Registered Manager.
  • To contribute to a culture of trust and mutual respect between children and staff.

The Provision of Childcare:

  • To develop and implement care plans for each young person, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • To maintain a safe, secure and homely environment, adhering to Bay View Childcare\u2019s policies and procedures.
  • To engage with children, creating an open and positive environment, and to actively supervise and keep them safe.
  • To manage and de-escalate conflict situations, ensuring the well-being and safety of all children.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma Level in Working with Children & Young People or Level Children, Young People and Families practitioner Apprenticeship.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing the needs of children and staff.
