About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Hennel Lane, a 5-bed home in a quiet residential street on Walton Park in Preston.

The individuals we support here at Hennel Lane love spending time in the garden, arts and crafts, and baking. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality, enabling care, and supporting individuals to live the life they love.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining detailed, person-centered support plans that promote health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity.
  • Implementing robust activity plans that encourage autonomy, new experiences, and flexibility.
  • Supporting individuals in financial planning, medication self-administration, and regular health reviews.
  • Tailoring the environment to meet individual needs, ensuring Health and Safety policies are followed.
  • Recruiting and managing staff through robust induction, supervision, and training processes.
