Island Care Worker

We are currently looking for an experienced support worker to join our team working on the Scottish Islands.
The role involves providing care and support to individuals with various needs, including learning disabilities, elderly, dementia, physical disabilities, and challenging behavior. You will be responsible for assisting service users with daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication administration, moving and handling, household chores, and general domiciliary care.
The successful candidate will promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing of service users while building strong relationships with them. The role also offers opportunities to work in various settings, including care homes, community care, and care at home.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a care home or community care environment, possess strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team. They will also have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
Competitive Salary: £22,500 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include access to free eLearning and training, weekly pay, SSSC endorsement, PVG updates, and free accommodation while on the island.
