About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at The City Recruiter. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a vital role in optimizing our suite of management information (MI) reports, integrating data from multiple sources into SSRS and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement reports within SSRS from SQL data sources.
  • Expand and promote the adoption of self-serve Power BI dashboards across all business areas.
  • Refine SQL jobs to enhance data performance and availability for reporting.
  • Ensure data from various systems is available within the SQL data warehouse for reporting.
  • Provide data and define processes within Finance for reconciling payments and receipts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an MI Analyst, ideally in an online travel setting.
  • Proficient in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics to analyse customer website journeys and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data sets.
  • Enthusiasm for using new technologies and tools to interpret data.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Personal Qualities:

  • This is a full-time, office-based role in Chester, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.
