MI Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled MI Analyst to join our team at Succeed Recruitment Solutions. As an MI Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing our client's current suite of MI reports, integrating data from multiple sources into SSRS and Power BI.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical approach to problem-solving, with a comprehensive understanding of SQL and experience working with SQL to develop MI reports that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement reports within SSRS from SQL data sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  2. Expand the current set of Power BI dashboards, promoting self-serve reporting across all business areas.
  3. Refine SQL jobs to maximize performance and availability of data for reporting, ensuring seamless data integration.
  4. Ensure data from various systems is available for reporting within the SQL data warehouse, maintaining data consistency.
  5. Provide data and define processes within Finance for reconciling payments and receipts, ensuring financial accuracy.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as an MI Analyst, preferably in an online travel setting, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
  2. Proficient in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI, with advanced knowledge of Excel for data summarization and presentation.
  3. Knowledge of Google Analytics, with experience in combining data to extract actionable insights.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive business growth.
  5. Enthusiasm for using new technologies and tools to interpret data, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
