Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As an MI Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our current suite of MI reports, bringing data from numerous sources into SSRS and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have an analytical approach to problem-solving, with a comprehensive understanding of SQL, as well as experience developing MI reports to share with all levels of the company to drive sales and aid business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Reports: Design and implement reports within SSRS from SQL data sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  • Expand Power BI Dashboards: Expand the current set of Power BI dashboards and encourage adoption of self-serve reporting across all business areas.
  • Refine SQL Jobs: Refine SQL jobs to maximize performance and availability of data for reporting.
  • Data Integration: Ensure data from numerous systems is available for reporting within the SQL data warehouse.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Provide data and define processes within Finance for reconciling payments and receipts.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as an MI Analyst, preferably in an online travel setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in an easy-to-understand format.
