Accounts Senior

We are partnering with a leading accountancy practice in Coventry to find a talented and motivated Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review year-end financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of management accounts, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Provide financial and tax advice to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the practice.
  • Support junior team members through coaching, training, and mentorship.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
