Key Responsibilities- VAT Return Review and Analysis
Review and analyze VAT returns produced by the offshore team to ensure high accuracy and meet tight deadlines.
Process Improvement and EfficiencyEnsure offshore team processes are carried out to a high degree of accuracy, understood, and documented. Consistently look for process improvement and efficiency opportunities.
Supplier and Customer QueriesAddress supplier, business, and customer VAT queries, and answer audit questions from any party.
VAT Process ChangesSupport and implement any VAT process changes resulting from business or systems changes, assessing VAT impact, compliance requirements, financial impact, and legal amendments.
VAT Advisory and PolicySupport the VAT advisory managers in monitoring industry policy, Tax Authority policy, and legislative VAT developments, and help turn policy and legislative changes into meaningful communication for the VAT compliance team and the wider business.
Requirements- Finance and Accounting Experience
Experience in finance and accounting systems, reviewing VAT returns, and a sound understanding of VAT principles.
Process DevelopmentProven ability to develop processes and a proven understanding of GL reconciliations and financial postings.
