We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Coventry Building Society. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting our investment portfolio and providing financial analysis and modeling expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Deliver month-end activities, support the financial planning process, including yearly budget setting, and manage day-to-day operations.
- Cost Management: Provide financial modeling for routine and ad-hoc activities, and assist project accounting deliverables.
- Reporting and Analysis: Ensure robust and transparent reporting that supports both Finance and the Investment portfolios, and provide analysis to support the Senior Cost Accountant in challenging forecasted spend and value being delivered.
- Experience: Having worked within a financial management or financial processing function, you'll have experience in managing month-end, yearly budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting processes.
- Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of financial modeling, strong analytical and Excel skills, and the ability to gather and analyze data, financial and non-financial, from a wide range of sources.
- Qualifications: You will have completed or be studying towards an accounting qualification.
