Head of Prudential Risk Management

Empirical Search Limited is seeking an experienced prudential risk specialist to provide oversight of liquidity, capital, and market risk management for an initial 6-month fixed term contract. This role will be the key prudential risk contact in the second line and may require a longer-term commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day oversight of prudential risks, including capital management, liquidity management, and treasury and market risk management.
- Reviewing relevant ALCO papers and providing 2LOD commentary where required.
- Undertaking the annual review of risk appetite (liquidity, IRRBB, etc).
- Supporting the annual review of the ICAAP.
- Supporting ongoing horizon scanning and reporting of regulatory and market developments.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in similarly sized banks in either the first or second line.
- Technical knowledge and experience in prudential risk (ideally a focus on liquidity risk management).
- Effective team working skills.
