**Job Summary**

Empirical Search Limited is seeking an experienced Prudential Risk Specialist to join our team in a 6-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will provide oversight of liquidity, capital, and market risk management, serving as the key prudential risk contact in the second line.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Day-to-day oversight of prudential risks, including capital management, liquidity management, and treasury and market risk management.
  • Reviewing relevant ALCO papers and providing 2LOD commentary where required.
  • Undertaking the annual review of risk appetite (liquidity, IRRBB, etc.).
  • Supporting the annual review of the ICAAP.
  • Supporting ongoing horizon scanning and reporting of regulatory and market developments.

**Requirements**

  • Experience of working in similar-sized banks in either the first or second line.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in prudential risk (ideally a focus on liquidity risk management).
  • Effective team working skills.
