Head of Prudential Risk Management

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Prudential Risk Management. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our insurance business operates within a robust and effective risk framework.
Key Responsibilities- Prudential Risk Oversight: Ensure that our insurance business is operating within a fit-for-purpose risk framework, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of prudential risks.
- Risk Management Framework: Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework that is aligned with our business strategy and risk appetite.
- Risk Reporting: Provide regular risk reports to senior management, including key risk indicators and trends.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders, including the Enterprise Risk Manager, Compliance function, and business leaders, to ensure that risk management is integrated into our business operations.
- Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of risk professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Qualifications: A qualified actuary (FIA) and a risk management qualification (CERA or IRM) would be highly desirable.
- Experience: A proven track record of working effectively with senior management on the risk and capital agenda within a Solvency II regulated business.
- Skills: Strong risk management skills, including the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate prudential risks. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
