About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Expert to join our Shared Services Partnership team as a Strategic Growth Officer. As a key member of our team, you will play a significant role in the delivery of our business support service and other business activities to boost economic prosperity across Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in shaping the delivery and future development of the Growth Hub, including business development and event activities to support generating new leads for the team.
  • Build relationships with a wide range of private and public sector organisations and commercial partners at a local, regional, and national level to realise Hampshire's economic vision.
  • Support the delivery of a highly effective programme of business advice that reflects the up-to-date needs of SME businesses, positively impacting their resilience and growth.
  • Play a role in encouraging collaboration activity and sharing of best practice in the South-Central Growth Hub Cluster.
  • Produce regular reports on the performance of the Growth Hub and help track progress against targets and other key performance indicators.
  • Help organise and participate in a busy events programme, requiring experience of reporting writing, project monitoring, and event administration.
