Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Partner with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company's growth objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide opportunities for professional development and continuous learning.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Ensure efficient and effective financial processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Develop and enhance financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Support the company's growth through acquisitions. Conduct financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition financial management.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company's financial stability.
Requirements
  • A professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software
  • A strong understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
