Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled SENCO Liaison Specialist to join our team at Catch22. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our services meet the needs of learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to develop and implement strategies for supporting learners with SEN, ensuring that our services are inclusive and accessible.
- Work closely with external agencies, commissioners, and stakeholders to communicate our approach to SEN and ensure that our services are aligned with national guidelines.
- Develop and maintain robust tracking systems to monitor the progress of learners with SEN, identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted interventions.
- Provide guidance and support to colleagues on SEN-related matters, ensuring that our services are delivered in accordance with best practice.
- Contribute to the development of our SEN policy and procedures, ensuring that they are up-to-date and effective.
Requirements
- Proven experience of working with learners with SEN, with a strong understanding of national guidelines and best practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, external agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to workload and priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
