Role Overview

Catch22 is seeking a highly skilled SENCO Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our students with special educational needs receive the support and resources they require to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend multi-agency meetings, CAFs, and Annual Reviews to ensure that our students receive the necessary support and resources.
  • Work with senior colleagues to develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and secure higher needs funding to meet identified needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning, ensuring that our students receive the best possible education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and set challenging targets for raising achievement among pupils with SEN.
  • Manage systems for screening learners at 'point of entry', identifying, assessing and reviewing provision.
