Role Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an Elective Home Education Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of statutory duties related to Elective Home Education (EHE).

Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with parents and carers to provide advice and guidance regarding the suitability of their child's education.
  • You will need to use your knowledge of safeguarding processes, risk assessments, and relevant legislation to inform your decision-making.
  • You will work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to support the delivery of services and achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
Requirements
  • You must have a strong understanding of safeguarding processes, risk assessments, and relevant legislation.
  • You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • You will need to use your initiative to prioritise your workload and manage competing demands, while maintaining a child-centred approach to the delivery of services.
