Job Summary

This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Ophthalmology team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the clinical team in their daily activities.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties of the role include working as part of the Ophthalmic team across outpatient settings and day surgery units, directing and supporting junior staff, escalating issues to line managers, and working with service providers to deliver an Ophthalmology service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of working with the public, carrying out assigned duties, and working within a team. You will also need to possess good IT skills, a good standard of written and spoken English, and a relevant qualification in healthcare or equivalent experience.
