The School of Biological Sciences at the University of Cambridge is seeking a highly qualified Research Professor of Infection and Immunity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building a world-leading research program, delivering excellent teaching, and supporting our collaborative research culture. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record of implementing innovative solutions to address key research questions in infection and immunity, with a focus on fostering adaptation of these innovations via collaborative scientific partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and leading a research program that addresses key questions in infection and immunity
  • Delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, practical classes, and small group supervisions
  • Engaging with Research Theme initiatives and contributing to our inclusive and collaborative ethos

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field
  • Excellent research record, with a strong track record of publishing high-impact papers
  • Proven ability to lead and manage research teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in infection and immunity, with a strong understanding of the Grand Challenge areas

Benefits:
