**Job Title:** Professor of Infection and Immunity

The School of Biological Sciences at the University of Cambridge invites applications for a Professorship position in Infection and Immunity. This is a unique opportunity to lead a research programme, teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, and contribute to the inclusive ethos of the School.

We seek a world-leading researcher with expertise in infection and immunity. The successful applicant will build strategic strength across the Organisms, Evolution and Ecology Theme and connect with colleagues in the Functional and Evolutionary Genomics Theme. Expertise in novel sequencing technology, environmental genomics, and machine learning approaches is highly valued.

Academic responsibilities include delivering lectures, practical classes, and supervising students. We particularly welcome applications from women, candidates who identify as Black or Asian, and those who consider themselves to be racialized minorities.

**Estimated Salary:** £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
