Evolution of the Immune System in Liver Disease

This PhD position is an outstanding chance to delve into the intricacies of liver disease and its impact on the immune system. Working under the supervision of Dr Heather Machado, you will employ advanced single-cell multiomics techniques to unravel the evolutionary processes driving chronic inflammation and cancer progression.
The successful candidate will receive a generous stipend of £20,000 per year and full University Fees coverage. As part of our vibrant research community, you will benefit from excellent networking opportunities, mentorship, and training in cutting-edge methodologies.
