About the Role

We are seeking a skilled educator to design and deliver a comprehensive syllabus for international students aged 18-24.

The successful candidate will have a strong subject expertise and be able to inspire and empower students through engaging topics, teaching materials, and interactive learning experiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach a high-quality course that meets the needs of students with varying levels of knowledge and abilities.
  • Teach seminars and tutorials that foster a positive, productive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Facilitate university-style study by setting pre-course work, independent study, and longer tutorial assignments to encourage students to develop their own ideas.
  • Provide individualized feedback during paired tutorials, informal feedback on other work completed, and personalized reports at the end of the course.
  • Complete an induction program to familiarize yourself with company procedures, logistical requirements, and safeguarding protocols.
  • Support students' academic development, record attendance, and report any welfare concerns to ensure students' safety.

Your Qualifications and Experience:

  • You hold a Master's or higher degree in a relevant subject and have experience of teaching or working with students in a related role.
  • You possess clear evidence of small group, interactive teaching that supports independent thinking and proven ability to adapt to suit the prior knowledge and interests of different students.
  • You understand the importance of looking after young people and creating a supportive learning environment.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £32 - £55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Pay bands depend on subject knowledge and relevant teaching experience.

Working Pattern: 18 hours of seminars, alongside up to 8 hours of tutorials per 2-week course.
