We are seeking a highly motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd, working alongside therapists and psychologists based on-site at school.

This is an excellent opportunity for Psychology Graduates or similar field professionals to gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues.

The successful candidate will have the chance to build their experience working with Complex Learning Disabilities and make a significant impact on the lives of our students.

Our specialist school in Oxford provides a supportive and inclusive environment for students aged 4 to 18 with Autism. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality care and child-centred support.

Job Description:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualised support to our students, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and education.

You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff and therapy teams to develop and implement tailored support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with Autism and Complex Learning Disabilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualised support plans
  • Work collaboratively with the therapy teams to deliver high-quality support

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualifications+ (Degree preferred)
  • Experience working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work proactively and adapt to changing situations

Salary: £75-85 per day, full-time Mon-Fri 8:30am-4pm
