About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd.
As a specialist school for children aged 3 to 18 with Autism, we provide a therapeutic environment where our students can thrive.
The successful candidate will support children with complex Autism and Learning Disabilities, working alongside therapists and psychologists to deliver high-quality care.
This is a long-term position, requiring a full-time commitment of Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 3:45 pm.
We offer a competitive salary of £90 per day, reflecting the importance we place on attracting and retaining the best talent in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with Autism and Learning Disabilities in a therapeutic environment
- Working alongside therapists and psychologists to deliver high-quality care
- Mentoring and shadowing sessions to gain invaluable experience
- Assisting with daily activities, such as lesson planning and classroom management
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or adults with Special Needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
