About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, retail experience, and a passion for customer service. As a Customer Service and Sales Manager, you will be responsible for motivating and inspiring your team to achieve business goals, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the security of cash and postal items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Implement and maintain effective sales and customer service strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Monitor and control shrink, waste, cash loss, and staff costs to optimize store performance.
  • Work closely with the Cluster Manager to identify cost savings and sales opportunities through analysis of profit and loss statements.
  • SUPPORT THE CLUSTER MANAGER WITH EMPLOYEE LIFECYCLE FROM RECRUITMENT TO APPRAISALS, TRAINING, AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Retail management or leadership experience preferably with experience of dealing with financial products or high-value cash transactions.
  • Experience in supporting delivery of store goals, including maximising sales, controlling shrink, and knowledge of P&L accounts.
  • A proven track record of working to and achieving stretching targets within tight budgets.
  • Ability to coach and mentor the team to improve performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels.
